Now is the time to give me input on what questions you still want answered. I realize you want to know where Daniel is, but other than that? What do I need to do to tie up loose ends for you?

ReplyDeleteSecond, as to your request about loose ends......I want to know how Richie and Dave will react when they find out about all that has gone on since the New Year. Do they know who Petey really is and if not, will telling them change anything (though I doubt it would, who can tell what goes on in the mind of an author looking for a twist). I also want a little resolution as the the way Carol behaved and if Jon will definitely back up Dot if she misbehaves. I hated that his mother was so mean to Tony. I could never see myself doing that to my children.
Can't wait to see how this all plays out.
In Chapter 87, we find that Richie is told:
Delete"Petey pushed the silly thought away and listened to the now familiar overview of her family connections, her work at the University, her former fiancé and blackmail – all without mentioning the pictures. The only thing that made this call different from the previous ones was the heat creeping into Jon’s voice."
So Richie knows most of it.
The only thing we're sure that David knows is that she is a 'genius', from Chapter 88.

ReplyDeleteTony telling Dorothea exactly what his Mom said. I know she got some information from his mother but not from Tony himself, also how Tony went to see Matt and what he ended up doing that night. Jon needs to go and talk to his mother, after everything with Petey calms down.
David's reaction to Petey and her whole family.
Will we see a wedding in the near future?

DeleteWhen you say tie up loose ends, it sounds ominously like the end is near. There is a lot more to this story, I hope. I want to see the real Petey emerge because I think it's somewhere inbetween goth and democrat!! I think her relationship with Jon will bring out the true Petey. I know this story has to end sometime or it will get stale and boring, but I hope not too soon and I hope you plan on writing more in the future. I've read We Weren't Born to Follow and it was amazing, and I'm a Jon girl!!!!!

DeleteAfter everything calms down with Daniel and that is over. Will we be seeing a new side to Petey and Jon? I like to explore their relationship more. They are a couple but so far, since becoming a couple they have only dealt with Daniel.

I would love to see them on the tour and her back to working for Tony again. How is it for them on the road, working and having a relationship? Does touring affect their relationship?
How does touring affect Tony and Dorothea. She is used to it but in another chapter, Tony was saying how he is not used to leaving someone behind and was already starting to feel the pain. I would really love to see the couples on the road and back to Bon Jovi the band.
The friendship between Dorothea and Petey, would like to see more of that.

DeleteI hope that you are not thinking of bringing this to an end any time soon? There is so much to explore here. Jon and Petey and her whole family. When they were just getting to know each other, we didn't know who she was but now we do, does it change them? Jon loves Petey but she is a genius and part of the Kerry Family, does it make him feel insecure?

Tony and Dorothea, love to see a different side to their relationship. What does he want for future, where is he planning to live now and does it get resolved with his parents? Jon needs to go and talk to his Mom about T and D and let her know that he supports them.
The touring, is that still happening?
I am thinking about ending it. Seems like it's lost its spark. It was supposed to originally end at the political fund raiser, and I wonder if I've made a mistake in letting it go on.

That would be a terrible mistake!!! There's no way this story has lost its spark. There's lots of story left to tell. Maybe we are putting too much pressure on you and making you feel like you have to post everyday and that every chapter has to be awe inspiring. If that's the case, you don't need to worry. Every chapter doesn't have to be full of drama to keep our interest, and don't feel pressure to post everyday. Take your time and let the story tell itself. You have a true gift, thank you for sharing it with us. Beth

We want a chapter everyday and when we do get one, we ask for another one? That has been bothering me lately. I see you every single day post a chapter but then see replies, can we get another one? I think it's too much for you. Just tell the story at your own pace. The only reason that we want so much is because it's a FANTASTIC story!!! there is no way that it's lost it's spark.

DeleteTony back at work would be good and to see how Tony and Dorothea handle the separation of the tour. When she comes to visit, she is now visiting Tony, instead of Jon. How Jon handles Petey on the tour. Would he change when he is in a professional situation. Petey and Richie everyday together could change feelings for her towards him.

No please don't end it!! It hasn't lost it's spark. There is still so much to tell. I know that it's up to you but I think this story has so much more to tell. I look forward to it everyday and can't wait to read the updates.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said, I want to know the outcome to Daniel. More into the relationship of Jon and Petey and more into Tony and Dorothea.
A wedding would be nice to see for Tony and Dorothea or at least an engagement.

I want to see more of Jon and Petey and see him with a girlfriend and how he is with her. Them going on the tour, the band acting with Petey, the road crew around Petey and Jon. Tony being Petey's boss.
I want so many things for Tony and Dorothea. To see their relationship tested by him being on the road. Him to tell her what happened with his mother and how it made him feel. Just the living Jon's life and trying to be Jon. As the previous poster said A WEDDING. Both had first marriages in Vegas, so it would be nice to see them get married on the beach or at the house. Not a long drawn out engagement but not a rush either. Just to see an ending and not leave it open, where we don't know what happens.
I want a wedding for Jon and Petey too but seeing that Tony and Dorothea have been together longer (a year) I see a wedding more for them.

Please don't end it! there is so much still there. Tony and Dorothea to deal with Carol. I'd love more Tony and Dorothea chapters. Jon still needs to introduce Petey to Carol. There's always the chance Jon's comfort with Petey's "style" isn't as good as he claims.

Carol should meet Petey without any prior explanations of who Petey is etc. That would make such a shining chapter (or two or five :-D ), when Carol finally is put to her place. And that would be the perfect juncture to sort out Carol's views of Tony and Dorothea, too, maybe... And I know that all good things come to an end eventually, although it's a pity they do. But I hope you already have another story brewing :-)
DeleteThere is still so much more to tell!! I just agree with everything that everyone has said. I want to see them on tour, I want to see Jon and Petey really interact as a couple. Go out to places, introduce themselves as boyfriend/girlfriend. Petey trying to fit into Jon's world.

I want details and I want to read about what is happening in the bedroom. I'm not coy, I am reading a fan fiction and I want more details. It's nice and sweet to read that Tony wants Dorothea but I want to read about what he is doing too.
