Would anyone out there be interested in a post today? Fridays are notoriously slow reading days, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Okay, this question was answered, but it leads me to another. If I decide to write another story after Patience will you read it? The way y'all talk ... well... I just wondered. You lead me to believe that I might not be able to live up to my own standard.
And if you will, is it dependent upon who the characters are?

Amanda, you are not the only one! I saw yesterday where Blush wrote that the new update was Saturday but I still checked today on the off chance that there will be a chapter. When I saw that there was, I don't want to tell you my reaction! a grown woman shouldn't behave like this over an update!
DeleteBlush I would most definitely read another story from you. Any character that you write would be fine but have the four couples from this story Jon/Petey and Tony/Dorothea continue onto to the new story and maybe more on Tico.
Whatever you want to write I'll read it! You are an amazing writer. Have you thought about writing David? You write him well already so maybe he can have some fun in the next one, and of course anything Richie would be very welcome!

Totally! I agree. I think your style of writing has pulled in so many people into this story and you write such fantastic characters. Look at what you did to this story? I'm positive that were doubts by some on certain characters and how they will play out or be received but everyone is loved so much!
DeleteAlso it's your dedication to it too. There are so many fan fictions out there where they don't get updated for months at a time. I think that's just awful. I understand life gets in the way but months? it's like if you read a book and get to one chapter. If the reader is so into that book, would they just put the book down and not come back to it in 4 months? I think that is where writers lose their readers. They update so slowly.
Sorry about this long response but I just wanted you to know that everyone appreciates your dedication to your writing.
I love how you write. I could care less who the characters were I will read it. You are an amazing writer and don't you ever doubt that.
ReplyDeleteI've read your others and enjoyed them very much. You are very talented. I don't want you to end this one though!!! How about a sequel to this one? After the wedding, and Daniel gets taken down, you could write about life on tour. But to answer your question, I would read whatever you wanted to write about.
ReplyDeleteI don't want this one to end either! As the above poster mentioned, what about them going on tour and how life is? How will Jon and Petey handle being married and touring together? Petey working with Tony and the whole brother-in-law/boss relationship. Tony and Dorothea being apart due to touring. They haven't had to deal with that so far. No way can this story end anytime soon. - Ashley02

I won't lie, it will be so HARD to say goodbye to this story and these characters. I am so attached them and these four characters (J, T, D & P) are so good and wonderful, fantastic, excellent! I just love them.

Your writing is phenomenal, your characters is phenomenal and this story is phenomenal. Need I say more? What ever you write, I will be there. Hoping for more Tony and Dorothea in the new story, Jon and Petey and even Richie but not with Denny - don't shot me!! - just not "getting" the vibe of that couple. I would love to see Richie with someone else.

Please don't doubt yourself, you are fantastic!! We will read anything you will decide to write, no matter who the characters are! Ever thought of giving a shot at writing novels? You should!!

All you have to do is say the word and I will be there! Just continue writing and all your readers and the new ones that come along will love it. I'm going to cry when this one ends!!! I hope it's not for a very long time. I want to see them on tour and how they are handling that.
